Trajal Harrell: Twenty Looks or Paris is Burning at the Judson Church (S)

12 August 2017

Rewind to 1960s New York, a hotbed of change. Uptown in Harlem, African American and Latino LGBT communities gather to catwalk their desires while Downtown dancers congregate in Judson Church to transform the vocabulary of modern dance forever - here Harrell imagines the extravagant meeting between the two, where minimalism and flamboyance collide.

Places limited, booking essential.
