Framed Film Club: James and the Giant Peach (U)

10am workshop/ 11am film

24 June 2017 / 11:00
Cinema 2
Based on Roald Dahl's delightfully dark children's story, this glorious stop motion animation tells the tale of James, an orphaned young boy who is forced to live with his cruel aunts (Joanna Lumley, Miriam Margolyes).

But James’ luck finally changes when a giant enchanted peach appears in his garden and he climbs inside, befriending a group of oversized insects that live within. As the peach rolls into the sea, James and his friends adventure across the Atlantic Ocean, battling obstacles along the way as they head to New York City.
